How much do shutters cost? +
Plantation shutters are a high-quality finish, but that doesn’t mean the price also needs to be high. We’ve kept prices low by offering DIY measure and install, and we’re entirely online so we avoid expensive showrooms.
Are shutters easy to install by yourself? +
Yes! We’ve created easy to understand installation and measurement guides for our window shutters so that anyone can install them.
What happens if my windows aren’t even all the way around? +
If your window frames are a bit wonky (or aren’t “square” if you’re a pro), don’t worry, because you can still have shutters. When you measure your windows, you’ll give us the smallest measurement and we’ll make the shutters to that size. When your shutters arrive, simple install them, and then fill in any gaps with the sealant (also known as caulking) supplied in your Easy Blinds shutters kit. Do shutters add value to your home?+
It’s hard to deny the visual appeal of shutters. They look great inside the house, but also from the outside adding plenty of curb appeal so most buyers will definitely appreciate the addition of shutters. The premium finish and 10-year warranty also adds to the home while implying quality throughout.
Do plantation shutters block out light?+
While shutters won’t block out 100% of natural light, they still restrict or block most of the light from your room and can even be better at removing light than blinds. This is because there are no gaps at the side of the widow.
For the most light removal, we recommend pairing shutters with a blockout curtain.
How do you clean shutters? +
Plantation shutters are easy to clean. Surface dust can be removed a soft cloth, while other marks can be removed gently with warm soapy water.
Can plantation shutters be installed onto any window? +
While shutters can be installed on almost any window, if you want your shutters to sit within the window frame, you’ll need to make sure that the shallowest part of the window frame is at least 65mm deep. This is the make sure there’s enough room for the shutter frame.

Are plantation shutters good at keeping heat out? +
lantation shutters are the best option for thermal installation. This is because the louvres are thick and they are also attached to the window frame all the way around. This keeps your home warmer in winter, keeping heat in and cool air out, and also keeps your home cooler in summer, keeping cool air in and blocking heat and strong sun from getting in.
